Flo the Flamingo and Picasso the Gorilla enjoying a beautiful day at The Atlanta Zoo in 2016. 
Picasso the Gorilla was created in partnership with Julia Hill and the Center for Puppetry Arts XPT Series. He was build to inspire and spark curiosity into new ways of looking at the world. We have two "Flo's", Baby and Momma, both are stilt walking puppets. Please inquire about rentals or original custom creations. A big thanks to Porch, Kristina, Anne and our team of artists that create puppets and specialty props at Zombie Cat Studios in the West End / Atlanta, GA USA.

What a difference a year makes! We've had some big changes and we're excited to get back to work! Hello fellow artists, readers and guests. Over the past several months I've been conducting interview and informal conversations with artists, creatives and people that seem to accomplish their short term creative goals with success. Let me tell you, the amount of feedback on the state of the modern artist is tremendous.      Putting aside the axiom of persistence getting us where we want to go, eventually, I asked fellow creators if they had any effective strategies for improving performance on longer-term creative projects? Creative Support Continued - Are you getting what you need?

Continuing from my last post… what exactly are The Field and The Domain? For a quick recap, Fields are the groups of people who inhabit Domains of knowledge. For example: I love the Domain of Painting and Art; and the Field of Painters and Artists. See the difference? A Domain is the Arena and the Field are the People that play in that Arena. So, who are these people in our fields of interest and what do we get from them?? Well, first we get Training. Once we find the mentors we need to take our visions to the next levels, we learn from them. Education keeps us moving forward, sharpening our minds and creative lives as we incorporate new skills. I'm grateful to have had parents that instilled a deep love of learning. Life is a long journey and the more you learn about what interests you creatively, the better your work will become.
